Hi there, just a few words…

July 18th, 2008

Firstly i’d just like to introduce myself as lemmingzappa, some of you may previously remember me as being a bit of a “lurker” but i’ve always taken a great interest in RKW and i’m looking forward to seeing it progress.

I’ll be working with the rest of the team to bring new content to the public and making sure everything runs smoothly here. I can only say good things about the move over to Crysis, it’s using a great engine… and that can only lead to great gameplay/visuals and great fun !

I’ll also be working on a few media pieces for you all, so watch this space…. If you have any comments or questions head over to the forums and we’ll be happy to answer !

Hello,

We have been issued in the weekly “Better know a Mod..” featurette at www.crymod.com Crysis community!

Please go there and read! And as always, if any ideas popup in your head while reading it then dont be square but send us a message either in the Crysis forums or here in our own forums!

Other news:

Linemapper has been working on a remake of an old RKW-UT2004 map called Deadly Mayhem and in a few days i will be posting some screenshots for you to see! Its looking really nice!

Over and out…

The good and the bad….

July 3rd, 2008

Hello all,

Latest update on the RKW project, i have some bad news and some good news…

Lets start with the bad one :-(

Our longlasted member Earl has decided to step down from the team and continue on his own path. Of course we’re very sorry about that since Earl was a great asset to us and a dear friend. You will be missed and hard to replace. Me and the rest of the guys wish you the best of luck on whatever you decide to do in the future…and dont be a stranger, when the first public Alpha of RKW is out we hope you can join and have a blast online…

Now the good news :-) (at least for our internal workflow and team).

Masterblaster reports that the ongoing work with our versioncontrol server is at 80% done and we will soon have a great system to administrate our assets and code, also the compiling of our own Crysis mod RKW.dll is underway and we should be able to see one internally in the next couple of weeks.
In general this means we will soon be able to start modifying our vehicles and maps in our own RKW mod environment and not on the actual Crysis environment, this is a good thing because it will speed up the production process and at the end will bring you a first playable RoadKill Warriors Alpha.
Thats it for now and see you very soon.

/Juan & RKWTeam
